The planet's original name has been lost to current Lyndri, though it was once called "Vy'kreth". Current generations of Lyndri know the planet as L'Dree'll, which is the name of the ancient Lyndri myth of a cursed land where the dead who were unable to accept their deaths were believed to wait.
The NorAellians call the world "LaDriiAell", which sounds very similar to L'Dree'll, and means "Ill Fated Place/People". More and more often people are simply calling it by that name and the Lyndri have stopped correcting people.
