The LDT-46 was an experimental tanker ship designed after Emory purchased the AetherWorks designs. Seeing an opening for highly volatile gas and fluid transportation, and seeing how the Hazard Hawk line developed reinforced and shock resistant cargo modules, Emory decided to let their designers take a crack at such a ship.
Using their connections established during the purchase of the AetherWorks designs, Emory reached out to DynaWorks and requested a new model of Dynex engine pod. The result was the Dynex 10 ThrustStar, the first Dynex pod that outright claimed to fulfill every propulsion need of a ship, subspace included. In practice, while the subspace drive on the ThrustStar is quite good for its size, and would certainly work as intended for a smaller ship, any capable shipwright would still add in more grav vanes to ensure a faster trip through the stellar basement.
The LDT-46 is part of the Long Distance line from Emory. Unlike most other ships of the product line, the LDT is designed as a tanker and exclusively transports volatiles of either gas or liquid form.
So, ya know, maybe don't shoot this one.
