TBD.
Emory Shipwrights has long been the name most associated with highly customizable freighter hulls, especially after AetherWorks folded and Emory snapped up all of their designs and the teams behind them.
The MMH-32 was originally conceived as a spiritual successor to the Hazard Hawk family of ships. An inter-system cargo carrier at heart, the 32 boasts impressive normal space speed and handling in its stock configuration, although its non-normal space speeds left something to be desired. In point of fact, an extra engine module became such a consistently requested modification that they became a standard option from Dynex.
The MMH-32 was designed for intersystem container cargo transport. Ideally, the captain of such a ship would have a home system and would operate some form of circuit between several nearby systems.
The ship is designed to carry four 100m standard cargo containers held in pairs on grav plates between two tension arms.
From Matt:
Sometimes, you just make something for you, ya know? After making the Hazard Hawk line, I wanted to build a ship model that I could then build a modified version of as the ship I would most enjoy flying around in. I didn't want to just completely steal the design of the Wayfarer, but I wanted something in that vein. This is the stock version of the ship that came out of that idea.
