A dark origin story. Follows Jameson, a sociopathic young man on New Athens, who is manipulating a girl named Nox (Itonia) — a talented mechanic whose father is military — as his ticket off-planet. Opens with them fleeing police in a stolen aircar with something incriminating in the trunk. Jameson is abusive and deeply misogynistic; Nox is resourceful and defiant.
